You will be responsible for troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (HVAC), and refrigeration equipment installed on campus for safe and efficient operations to minimize breakdowns and increase equipment life and user satisfaction. Also, implement cost-effective repairing techniques for expense savings
Specifically, you will be responsible to:
- carrying out repair and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment independently
- diagnosing the maintenance problems of HVAC Equipment and troubleshooting effectively to minimize downtime
- troubleshooting and maintenance of refrigeration equipment including freezers and refrigerators
- executing the preventive and predictive maintenance activities on all HVAC Equipment/ Services as per defined procedures to prevent breakdowns
- reading the equipment manufacturer guidelines and in-house SOPs and implementing the same during preventive and breakdown maintenance works
- recording all required information on job activity to maintain history and other relevant data in facilities and equipment management system
- inspecting and observing assigned equipment/services to minimize breakdown and to meet user’s needs
- implementing cost-effective repairing techniques for savings
- following EHS guidelines and dress code at work
- any other related task as assigned by the supervisor
